Stumbled upon this on a google search, and I think I can throw some light on it even if it is 3 months to late. Sorry I don't speak Latvia.
Renate Bluma (under the name Raven) was working for a riga based studio (at 35 Lāčplēša iela) associated with a number of porn sites. But firstly with livetopcams.com/seventeenlive.com, which was a webcam site where girls would perform live sex shows for paying customers via webcams. Renate actually was fired a couple of months ago because she had started seeing one of her regular customers on the cam site in real life (A guy called andreas from sweden). He comes over to riga every now and again where they meet in a hotel.
The same complex has another studio for photographing models and porn shoots for a number of sites. But mainly the diesel sites (18onlygirls.com, wowgirls.com, and younglegalporn.com), which Renate has also performed with. They run regular trips overseas for shoots, with ibiza happening once or twice a year. This attracts eastern european models to perform in both hardcore (sex) and softcore (just nudity) pornography. Renate obviously was also helping out in the background with recruitment, and because she is a photography and media student, the actual shoots.
The riga studio for all the sites is run by an actual model called Adria (probably not her real name), who lives in an apartment attached to the studios.
So porn yes, but not prostitution (apart from what Renate did on her own, and got in trouble for).
